Excel has many shortcut keys; here are a few favourites!
| Shortcut Key | Action |
|---|---|
| CTRL + ` (underneath the ~ symbol) |
Shows you the formulas in the cells instead of the results of formulas. Great for spotting errors! |
| ALT + = | Inserts the AutoSum formula |
| CTRL + ; | Enters the current date in a cell, this shortcut also works in Access. |
| CTRL+BACKSPACE | Scrolls your view to the active cell. |
| CTRL + ENTER | Used to enter the same information in multiple cells simultaneously. Select the cells, Enter the information and instead of pressing Enter by itself, use CTRL + ENTER |
